When you submit a document to Checkstead, we process the document content as needed to identify and verify citations and quotations, determine their locations and context, and produce the requested results. Checkstead is designed to minimize the information retained after processing. We do not use submitted material to train artificial-intelligence models.

If you contact us, request access to a demonstration, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message.

Our hosting provider, Render, may automatically process limited technical information as described in the hosting disclosure on this website.

How We Use Information

We use information only to:

• provide and improve Checkstead’s verification services;

• respond to inquiries and demonstration requests;

• maintain the security and reliability of the website and service; and

• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. You may request deletion of your emails, contact information, submitted data, or other information associated with you by contacting privacy@checkstead.com.

We will honor reasonable deletion requests, except where limited retention is necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or information maintained temporarily in routine system backups.
